This works exactly as I expected. Some reviews mention "melting" or the velcro backing coming off. Did not encounter these issues.This fit my dremelWhen I wore the "hooks" off this, after several months of substantial use, I took my dremel and sanded off the remaining "hooks" to make it smooth. Peel & stick sandpaper now sticks to it perfectly and I can use up my stash of peel & stick.So far Dremel still makes the best small Dremel like tools!This is a good value for the money. It fits just like the original equipment and the sanding pads attach just like the original equipment. I can’t speak about durability because I’ve only used it once but it appears that it will last at least as long as the pad that came with my original purchase. I would recommend this product to my friends and family.It works really well. You have to remember that you can't press down on the front of the pad. Other wise you'll start to burn the pads hook and loops. That the only down fall with the pad itself. The cost is a bit more expensive than replacing the pad on my Dewalt palm sander.Great product, just as expectedI have the Dremel and this attached quite easy. A little caution note! slow down don't run this until the tip overheats. Like all of the models like this the tips may overheat and you will melt the plastic fingers that secure the sanding pad in that area. SANS RANCUNE.Doesn't fit my Craftsman oscillating tool. They say on the packaging that it's a universal fit. Well that certainly isn't true. The piece is much smaller connector than what's on my Craftsman.I managed to kill Velcro an original Dremel pad after few years of occasional use. I tried to glue regular Velcro to the pad but it got destroyed way faster then original one. So I bought this one and it works well so far. So comparing it with original Dremel pad this one is no worse and even a little easier to install.
