I have only recently started getting into wigs and this is the first brush that I have bought and it detangles without ripping anything out and is very nice and small and portable and I think very effective at helping me up keep my wigs. I deducted a star because it's hard to keep a hold of if you have bigger hands like I do and it can get a little slippery especially if you are also spraying a leaving conditioner or something it's not really very grippy and there's no real way to hold on to it very well like some of the other brushes that I have. But it works great otherwiseI bought this to work on my daughters’ doll hair. I saw a tutorial online that suggested this. It is a great idea for this application. I was disappointed that several of the loops were pushed into the brush head when I got it. I had to spend a good bit of time digging them out once I realized it wasn’t just broken. But they skip back in from time to time, which makes it frustrating. Overall, it was an inexpensive solution to our scary doll hair problem.Used this brush to brush out a 40 inch Stocking (From Panty and Stocking) wig. It arrived quickly and worked wonders, most all of the tangles were removed with a relatively small amount of hair being ripped out. The smaller size is good because it helps make you take your time, which if you don't want to destroy the wig is a very good thing. My only complaint is that once you brush a wig if hair gets caught around the loops, like with any brush, it is more difficult to clean out because of the loop design.
