First of all, the shoes are very nice looking and are super cute (prettier than the product view on the amazon-the color in the amazon are somewhat not exact) - the red color would really look nice and smooth in toddlers for sure. I had already bought the adidas Cf fluid 2 shoes and the gymboree sneakers before for my toddler 1.5 yrs old boy and were very pleased with them.Pros:1.This shoe has a sole that has a kind of memory foam materiel that yields pressure relief to the foot (at the ankle point)- very important for toddlers who are very active and have just learnt to walk/ in the process of learning to walk.2. Apart from the soothing red color, the white stitches of the seams on the red color are very nice and gives a bright contrast and look stylish.3. The curves of the shoes are perfect and the width is very standard (heel counter, toe box are of perfect contours- feel like they would make the baby feel comfortable wearing the whole day)4. The double zippers with the Velcros look durable (though time will really tell how long they hold on)5. Apart from the original sole (that has nice grippers), they have filled up the portion with a dark greyish gripping material between outsole & midsole to help in weight balancing profile. That is definitely a nice catch for this product, especially aimed for beginners/ toddlers.CONS:Amazon has very limited sizes in this color- I bought a 5.5M which appeared to be larger, so wanted a 4.5M- ,looks like amazon doesn't have stock of those.Would definitely recommend this product. It took me forever to get some shoes that fit my toddler at a reasonable price. This more than I would have liked to spend, but they DO fit so we kept them and I was willing to spend the money. Positives are that they are cute shoes, my almost 2 year old loves them, and they fit his wide feet. Negative: the Velcro on one of his shoes doesn't go all the way to the end so it looks kind of weird with the white Velcro showing. I don't know if one of my son's feet is smaller than the other or one shoe is smaller. I guess either is possible. The other negative is the first time I went to put them on him, something on the Velcro sliced into my finger and there was an actual sliver in my skin! I took it out and no major damage was done. But I thought that was strange. I kept these shoes because they were the best I could best I could bet for the price in wide width! We have been purchasing these shoes for 2 years now and I couldn't be happier with them. My nearly 4 year old son has never once complained about them hurting his feet. They are great for the playground as well as a slightly dressier shoe when needed. They don't show much wear and tear - I love the added padding around the back of the ankle. The color choices are slim but match nearly everything. My son can easily get these on and off his own feet (now if only I could get him to put them on the correct foot every time). We have been getting two colors each time we order and we get them twice/year because of foot growth. My son's feet are very normal in width and we do not experience the short strap issue that I have seen in some reviews. I recently got my son another type of sneaker and he said he liked him but he asked if he could have more of these, too!My son is 18 months old and has wide feet like his dad. It is nearly impossible to find reasonably priced everyday shoes for a toddler than come in a wide size. These are perfect! He can finally run without his shoes hurting his feet. The Velcro also allows for better flexibility in the width, so if you have a wide base and are wide top to bottom, these work. I will definitely be buying more as he grows. Also, the colors are adorable. And the style makes them reasonable for play shoes or church shoes. We bought the sea salt blue ones and the khaki colored ones. This is my sons third pair of sperrys. I just love them. Very easy to put on. They match everything. Has he grows I just get another pair in his size. He's two now. He calls them his boat shoes. I'll be ordering again when these become to small. My son is ruff and tuff and the shoes still look great. Sperrys run big I've found. Size to a size and half bigger. My son wears a 8-8.5. I ordered him a 7.5 in these sperrys they are a little big but he can wear them with no problem and I like them a little big so they last longer and he can wear them with socks since he gets so sweaty. My 4 year old recently grew out of the first pair I got him and I just purchased another. Even thought he wore the first pair daily at preschool they're still in great shape. They may be one of the few shoes from this age I pass on to a friend. Not only are they sturdy but he is able to put them on easily by himself. He had trouble with a bulkier pair of New Balance sneakers. The sole of this shoe is nice and flexible unlike a lot of "skater" type shoes. Also, I think he's much more comfortable sitting on the floor at school without the bulk of a running shoe. I think the fit is a very good balance for kids that are growing out of their plump baby foot. We didn't have problems with the length of the velcro or the width of the shoe. My son's foot is slightly wide but a wide sized shoe is too big for him.I was a bit nervous to purchase after reading a few of the reviews about the Velcro being scratchy. First - the size was great, I went slightly larger than his current size because I wanted some room for him and they were great. They aren't so big that they fall off and he immediately wore them around the house and to daycare. The Velcro - yes, some of it does still show because I'm not going to tighten it all the way. However, we have had zero issues with it actually scratching anything. He wears these all the time for play and has started to wear out some parts of it but they are holding up well. If they get us to the winter then I consider these a complete success!!This are really lovely and look durable. I bought size 10.5, for my son who is currently using size 10. They were too tight on his foot. So better to order a size or half size larger. In my case. My son has normal narrow feet. I now ordered size 11.5. Will see.Lovely little pair of shoes and look well made. The 'roughed' up canvas material is a nice fashion detail. Would definately buy more from this range. These shoes are so cute, and they seem very comfortable, my son doesn't complain. They are very well-made as well.Cracking kicks.Great fit, great look! Well made and a lot more sustainable than most other canvas trainers. Worth paying a little more for. We love them.
