The suede backing helps keep the guitar stationary as well as adding to the comfort. Suede end tabs combined with the glove leather body for a great handcrafted vibe.

Finding a good dobro strap is a journey. I found a great one 20 years ago for my first reso that was made of woven nylon. I looked and looked for another when I bought a newer guitar a couple of years ago but with no luck: they don't make the same strap today.
